Sired by Futura Humdinger, the multi-championship winning Australian Stud male, Gilt Edge Electra brings fantastic new genetics to our breeding programme.

Gilt Edge Electra (along with Shamarra Xanadu) arrived all the way from New Zealand in July 2018 – our first imported Alpacas here at Fangdale Beck. Electra is an exciting prospect and has the densest, soft handling fleece of all our Alpacas, a trait she inherits from her sire. She was mated before leaving New Zealand and managed to keep her pregnancy to EP Cambridge Legionary, a Windsong Valley Firedragon son. This May, after a difficult delivery, she have birth to a lovely mid fawn boy who we have called Max.
