When we decided to raise Alpacas in 2010, we bought three pet boys to see how we would get on.

Barney was one of these and since his arrival we have fallen in love with Alpacas. Barney is a docile, friendly Alpaca but rather fat as he loves to eat!

Although he lacks the machismo of some of our boys, he is undoubtedly the most handsome. Barney has a lovely mid brown, almost caramel fleece that produces a fine, soft wool. His mid fine fleece lends itself well to double-knit (DK yarn).
